FAQS:
How many images do I get?
-I believe in quality versus quantity. I try to capture the moments that other people will often miss. I take both creative, candid and posed and all are edited in Hello Happy Day style. I believe that the viewer gets tired looking at photos that look like the last image so I carefully sort (which takes hours and hours) and edit the best shots that do matter. The order of images shown in the gallery provided (and on the book if you choose to order) will be laid out as if the story is being told through images. Therefore, though I may take an average of 50-100 shots in an hour, only half of that (or more) will be edited and posted on the website,cd and book.
Trust me, 20 images of walking down the aisle can lose it's magic.
What is the style of your wedding photography?
-As what I do for portraits, my wedding photography style is based on the style of the wedding and the couple. The colors differ depending on the lighting and color palette of the wedding. Pastel colors would often be brighter and softer while deep and warm colors will look vintage and darker. Some photos will be in color, some will be in black and white. Some images are more striking and meaningful when they are in black and white.
How long before I get my photo CD?
-Approximately 3-5 months. Sorting and editing takes a lot of work. You will get the url of the online gallery first and if you order a photo book and other products, the cd will be given to you at the same time as your order. If you choose not to order anything, then the cd will be given to you before the gallery is deactivated.
Do I get high resolutions of the images?
Yes, with my weddings and events high res photos are given to clients (but not for photos shoots/portraits and engagements). You can print as you please using other labs but I cannot guarantee the quality and outcome of the photos. I have my own professional lab that is calibrated with my computer and it prints the photos the best way possible.
What payments do you accept?
-I accept payments from major credit cards through paypal and also cash and check.
Though cash is always preferred.
Do you require any deposits?
-Yes, to secure the date of the wedding shoot, half of the total is required before the wedding day and half is required on the day of shoot. If you want to be spared of the hassle, payment in full, of course, is always welcome.
If paying through paypal, please let me know so I can send you an invoice.
A personal meeting is required around a month before wedding day where you can pay the deposit (if paying by cash or check) and sign all the contracts.
How long do you stay in the wedding reception?
- I do not stay until after everyone leaves the party. Once I think I got all the important photos, I leave (with your knowledge of course). Approximately, 1-2 hours before closing time, just right before everyone gets a bit crazy and after all the highlights are done.
